I could see it supporting the Caol Ila and Clynelish well. Since Glaser knows what he's doing, I wonder if he discovered that it helped merge the CI and the C.Diving for Pearlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02373371259792882112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101162324715983722.post-69482796068273810052014-10-25T00:05:49.313-04:002014-10-25T00:05:49.313-04:00Thanks! I would have never picked up this bottling on my own due to my own unfair misgivings about a distillery I'd never tried. We all need to shed our prejudices and try the weird/unusual distilleries or else we're limiting our experiences.Diving for Pearlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02373371259792882112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101162324715983722.post-20120260776998817322014-10-23T23:06:48.802-04:002014-10-23T23:06:48.802-04:00On a related note, Compass Box The Lost Blend also...On a related note, Compass Box The Lost Blend also has Allt-a-bhaine in the blend. However, I liked more and more the last 1/3 of the bottle - coincidentally, at the time that the weather got much cooler. I enjoyed the salty smokiness (you found pool air and sea salt flakes) and the malty vanilla. Still not a world beater, but fun. And now I had an Allt-a-bhaine!Florinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14445344658258056628noreply@blogger.com
