Looking forward to trying indie Dalmores because all I've had are OBs. Maybe a refill hoggie would show off the true malt underneath.Diving for Pearlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02373371259792882112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101162324715983722.post-13826100617251188122013-10-31T19:29:32.396-04:002013-10-31T19:29:32.396-04:00I will admit I like Richard Patterson. However I have to agree with Ralfy that the best way to taste Dalmore is through the independents which don't overuse the wood finishes like some official Dalmores (look at the number of casks the King Alexander went through).

That said, the Gran Reserva sounds like a better official Dalmore since the wood maturation is kept simple. Though I'm not so sure about that price.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13215982348779717643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3101162324715983722.post-79164092243713513392012-05-31T02:10:19.792-04:002012-05-31T02:10:19.792-04:00Haven't found it around here yet, but it sound...Haven't found it around here yet, but it sounds intriguing. The extra layer of flavors transforms it into an entirely different beast and meshes perfectly with the high rye content.Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06448702693643593156noreply@blogger.com
